A Cold & Crooked New Years

Happy New Years!

Crooked River State Park, Georgia
12.31.09 to 01.03.10

Trip Report: We wanted to kayak, hike and ride bikes during our first visit to Crooked River State Park, but the weather had different ideas. One day had a high of 51F, while the rest of the time was between 26F and 42F with wind and rain. Granted, most of the country would switch forecasts considering all the record cold and snow totals recently, but still a little too cold for our Florida blood to enjoy outdoor activities.

We spent the long weekend listening to Hannah/Miley, reading and watching movies (Hannah Montana Movie and National Parks for Kids). It was nice to spend some quality, quiet time together to end one year and then start another. Kellisa was out by 9pm and we didn't wake her, choosing to wish her "Happy New Years" in the morning.

Because of the limited activities, the pictures below represent a stretch in quality.
