We've lived in Jacksonville for almost 11 years and last Saturday (6.23.12) was the first time we rode on the St. Johns Ferry. Since there is always talk of closing the ferry, we thought it was a good idea to ride the ferry before it's too late.

I have Guadalupe Peak on the "maybe" list of state highpoints I can attempt with Kellisa. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking about pushing Kellisa up highpoints when I hiked the Guadalupe Peak Trail in August of 2003, so I didn't access the feasibility. I don't remember any scrambles or anything that would make it a definite no, so I will probably return with Kellisa at some point in the future.

Kellisa's hair is almost blond because it required regular cleaning with hydrogen peroxide following her two shunt surgeries in April 2003.
