A busy weekend started with a girls afternoon out. Lisa and Kellisa attended a matinee performance of the Nutcracker Ballet at The Florida Theatre, extending a tradition that started back in 2004. Kellisa danced in her chair for most of the show. After the Nutcracker, we raced to Kellisa's regular dance class. Inspired by the ballet, Kellisa's instructor reported that it was Kellisa's best dance class ever.
Kellisa attended the Jaguars game. It was almost 80F at kickoff with mostly sunny skies, perfect December weather in paradise. The Jaguars lost to Miami (10-14), but still control their playoff destiny. Not a bad position to be in after week 13 in a rebuilding year. Below: Kellisa cheering as the Jaguars take the field.
Sunday evening, we took a ride to a house a couple of miles away. "Clark" would be impressed at the decorations at this house. The owners have the lights and decorations in sync with the music that is being played outside. Cars line up for blocks to drive in front of this house and watch the free show. This was our second year visiting this home and Kellisa had an absolute ball while enjoying the lights and music. We will probably visit several more times this holiday season.
